The beginning of my twenty first celebrations began on Saturday 11th November, 2 days before my actually birthday.
We had a celebratory big family meal for my granny, who also had a big birthday the same month. Lots of food and drink was consumed, believe me. Later on in the afternoon my mum surprised me with a few nights stay in a hotel, followed by a spa and afternoon tea.
Because it wasn't just a light meal, and I would be more than likely stuffing my face - considering it was a 3 course lunch. Elasticated comfy trousers seemed like the best option!
I recently purchased these wide leg culottes from PrettyLittleThing through the Asos website. I love how versatile I can make them. Dressing them up for a night out, or a casual afternoon with a pair of pumps or converse.
The black semi-sheer ribbed fabric was something I wasn’t too sure about, pretty much
‘can you see my knickers?’
The silver ring around the waist, was the first feature of the trousers that caught my eye. Also due to the fact that they were highwaisted - which is always a love of mine.
Bright pink isn't usually a colour I would tend to go for, as I didn't really believe the colour would do much for me. But I absolutely adored this top when I tried it on!! This colour is also really in at the moment which also persuaded me.
I love the 3 different types of material they've combined to create the top. The sheer lace panels and the pleated detail work so well together, makes it that little more interesting. The slightly flared spotted sleeves, carries on the bagginess to the rest of the top which ties it all in nicely.
My tan Claudia Conova bag is the perfect size for the afternoon to fit in all my bits and pieces - purse, make up, phone - all the essentials! This handbag is so versatile as it can also be worn as a backpack when the other strap is clipped on.
My NEXT Fluffy leopard print coat is always a must on chilly afternoons - in fact in any case, fluffy coats are a must.
