A day in Verona

This outfit was put together for my recent trip to Italy (where I wish I still was). While in Italy my friend Natalie and I mainly explored Venice and Verona. I am sure you are all aware that Verona is where the courtyard and balcony is situated, from the famous play Romeo and Juliet. Along with exploring the streets we of course visited this courtyard as it should be one of the top things to do for a tourist while  in Verona.

While I was packing It came to my attention that I only own 2 knitted jumpers, which are both a shade of pink and super bulky. That’s where the Asos sale and my premium next day delivery comes in super handy, sometimes too handy. This is the first yellow piece of clothing I have ever purchased, I love the brightness of it so much - It is such a happy colour! and the high neck is also ideal for extra warmth during the colder months.

Because Italy was around 6° warmer than the Aberdeen climate, layers weren’t such a necessity. As you can see, I wore my thin leather look over shirt which was enough with a jumper underneath. When I initially bought these trousers, I thought I would get more use of them for going out at night or for special occasions. However, when I paired the two colours together, I could not resist dressing them down with a jumper and trainers for the day.

Natalie and I took a day trip to Verona, where we stumbled across an area which had loads of Christmas market stalls along with local food and clothing stalls - that’s where I gained this gorgeous mustard and grey scarf from, for only 10 euros.

I finished off this outfit by adding every more colour, with a bright green snake print belt and a black fluffy bag which has become one of my favourites by far, after using it for the first time on this holiday. You can literally fit everything you need and more inside this bag and it also comes with a long adjustable strap, allowing you to switch up how you wear it throughout the day.

Wandering the clean colourful cobbled Italian streets, was such a lovely experience and this will definitely not be my first and last visit to such a beautiful country.
