Vivid pops

Layering is a key trend which I love for Autumn / Winter. That extra layer makes all the difference and it is fun to style your once summer top into an all year-round top!
I tend to stick with thin knitted jumpers for daytime layering, as seen in this look with my black high neck jumper worn underneath a simple patterned top. However, I also rate these layered cami top looks with a black mesh top for perhaps going out. The patterned cami also added some pattern and life to this outfit, as to apposed if I were just to wear my plain black knitted jumper.

There are two bargains which made up this outfit. The khaki green trousers which were purchased for only £4 in the Matalan sale. Typically, this was 100% one of those times where I wish I had bought more than one pair, not only regarding the price but due to the fact I practically live in them, dressing them up for everyday and night. Hindsight would be a great power if we had it huh? These are my go-to chilled lazy days trousers and also my comfy travel trousers.

My cream velvety fur jacket was originally from Dorothy Perkins, but this wee gem only cost £5 from a charity shop. For being second hand and only a few pounds this jacket was in excellent condition prior purchase, no flaws whatsoever and besides it is also for a very good cause - win win! A key feature which I love is the fact it has a zip and pockets, some of my other fur jackets which I own don’t have either. The neutral jacket colour also allows it to be paired with a lot of different outfits.

Yellow is not a colour I tend to wear or buy for myself to be honest, the closest I get is lemon. Nevertheless, within saying that this bag was a gift from my mum - so I did not have a say In the matter...
In all truthfulness she has made me love yellow more, it is maybe not my first choice of colour for clothing, but for accessorises I am all in.

Love Ashleigh - x
