Brown, white, blue and orange are never four colours which I have mixed together in an outfit before - but this outfit is a bit of me. I have also mixed and matched 3 different patterns within this outfit. I personally think the mix of pattern and range of colours all look fabulous together and work cohesively well. Making the overall look, appear more funky.
I never thought until now and I don’t know about you, but brown is never a colour I include in my colour scheme of clothing choices. Accessories such as bags and boots yeah, but never clothing. With saying that, I don’t think I would buy a piece of clothing which was completely brown - but you never know.
These grid check culottes were one of my biggest loves in this order. Super super comfy. I got a size 8, petite and I must admit they aren’t the best of fits around my waist with slight gaping. However, they are now out of stock so it was either keep them and deal with it or never have them in my life... haha you can guess the answer to that.
I was a little sceptical about this top to begin with, as cross over tops don’t tend to suit my upper body type. They always end up not fitting properly and being too revealing.
I didn't have an orange bag in my current bag collection, so I think this one definitely adds a funky edge! The croc imprint and statement smaller strap is what drew me to the bag in the first place. It has also been on my ASOS wish list for a very long time, so I thought I would treat myself. As far as I am aware It wasn’t advertised on ASOS that the bag came with an adjustable long strap - so that was a nice surprise when I opened the bag up!! A very versatile buy in my eyes.
The converse I’m wearing are an off white satin material. You will never really see me wearing these much as they are killers for my heels. The material is much stiffer, compared to the standard fabric plimsoles. I’ve had them for a few years, yet they’re far from being soft comfy...
