Lockdown shopping

I subconsciously started this year off, by buying a very little amount of clothes as possible. Not only do I love to save my money, but deep down I know it's not the best of hobbies, due to the impact the clothing industry can have on the environment. Besides that, I definitely prefer spending my money on holidays ☼

With that being said, for a fashion student I think I have done pretty well. Until now...

My last purchase was in January which was a black dress from Boohoo, it was £11. I've only worn it once so far, but I know I will get good use of it. Mixing it up with different coloured accessories and styling my hair differently, is a simple trick to make any outfit appear different.

Fast forward 2 months, I cracked - especially after seeing everyone else receiving online shopping orders.

The buzz you get when you get the email or text, to say your DPD driver has your order. Better yet, unpackaging your order and seeing all your once screen modelled items which are now yours. I can confirm this buzz I usually get, increased by at least 100% due to being in lockdown. It was something to look forward to, plus it would give me something to do for a few hours. Playing dress up, creating and matching outfits together - dreaming about what I can wear them to...

p.s after my dad heard about the blog photos I wanted to take (for Instagram) he said that he is looking forward to reading my blog posts, (which I wasn't planning to do). But here I am writing this, as he has inspired me to get back into blog writing. Plus it is something else to keep me busy!

So, I know I have already filmed an ASOS haul of my recent order. However, I have decided to write a few blog posts on the outfits I have created. Keep an eye out over on my Instagram!! ☺
