I don't think I got the pink memo for visiting this gorgeous flower covered cake parlour.
Peggy Porschen Cakes was a discovery of mine on Instagram a while back and I just knew I had to make a quick visit if I ever made it to London.
The location of this parlour was not what I expected at all. I expected it to be in the hectic city centre and not in a residential quiet neighbourhood.
The café is actually so tiny there's only about 5/6 tables and you have to queue for a table for well over an hour, unless you have a reservation of course. With time being crucial we eventually gave in and just decided to go with a takeaway.
My black and white checked high waisted trousers have been such a staple piece in my wardrobe the last couple of months. I just love how subtle the check pattern is. These were mainly purchased for my trip to London (as If hadn’t enough clothes to do me already.) In fact i would be lying if I didn’t say I pretty much purchased this whole entire outfit before London..
I just could not resist a few new purchases. They have a slight crop and flare to them which has been very in recently. Due to the lengthily walks roundabout the busy city, a comfy pair of van trainers seemed pretty much ideal for most of the weekend. Especially after trotting about for hours on end in agonizing heels the night before.
Even though these are an extremely comfy pair of trousers - I really do wish I got these in a size down, as they have started to slacken the more and more wear I get out of them. But still these will never go wrong as they're so easy to style.
Smiling since I finally got a yummy red velvet cupcake.

This outfit was kept quite basic for our last day in London before the flight home and the weather wasn’t all that great either. I styled the trousers with my black suedette biker jacket, as you may have seen on my previous London blog post. These kind of jackets go with pretty much anything and can be worn for lots of different occasions, for dressing either up or down.
T-shirts are genuinely a huge missing part of my wardrobe. The majority of the tshirts I own are either old lounging ones or just not acceptable for public outings. I recently discovered I 100% prefer white or coloured t-shirts to black ones as they're so much easier to keep clean and fluff free, so this recent purchase is such a hit with me.
This jaguar print t-shirt was an ideal piece to added to my tiny collection of casualwear. The red and orange colours subtly add a spark of colour to the overall two tone outfit. Captioned ‘Cute kitten records the’ with lightning bolts which means nothing to me whatsoever.. If I’m entirely honest, I just liked the print.
My accessories for this day were kept fairly simple with my black western style buckle bag and my cat eye accessorize sunglasses. This was actually my first ever purchase of an everyday black bag, which seems pretty bizarre as they're probably one of the most common colour of everyday bags. I tend to be attracted to tan colour bags, but it seemed essential for me to finally source a black one when I struggled to style and match a few of my outfits with an ideal bag.
